Kathy started this website in the late 1990's to provide information and resources to home health nurses and other professionals. Kathy has been a home health nurse for over 25 years. She has been a field nurse, nursing supervisor, staff educator, and quality improvement nurse.
From her personal experiences and her years of experience helping families learn to care for their loved ones and cope with the challenges of home health care, Kathy has authored The Everything Guide to Caring for Aging Parents. The book was published in 2009 by Adams Media and is available from Amazon.com.
For four years, Kathy was the Guide to Nursing at About.com and now has her own blog and website for nurses: TheNursingSite.com and TheNursingSiteBlog.com. She is also the author of The Everything New Nurse Book and 150 Tips and Tricks for New Nurses, also from Adams Media.
