| The vast majority of submissions included some kind of food related celebration such as a breakfast or luncheon |
| Some held a breakfast each day of the week, and ended with a luncheon on Nurse's Day. Foods were either provided by the admin staff, or potluck involving field staff as well |

A couple of agencies took out full or half page ads in local newspapers expressing thanks to their staff members.
Although there are separate days or weeks designated for therapists and Aides, most celebrations included them as well as the nurses, but often the gifts and tokens were only for the nurses.
We created a musical photo slideshow featuring pictures of our nurses with their favorite client. We created consent forms for the project and went out over a period of a few months to take the photos with a digital camera.
The slide show was set to "Bridge Over Troubled Water". It was a huge success!!
The pictures were very sweet, moving and funny. We also took photos of nurses who came in with their children. The whole slide show lasted about 4 1/2 minutes. This was in addition to having a luncheon with personal invitations which we sent a few weeks before. We gifted the nurses with a portfolio type binder with our company name. We obtained donations from the community for door prizes such as baseball tickets, a gourmet basket, major gift cards, etc.
All I can say is....WOW way to go!!!!!
